What you can expect

If you are a fan of the Romans, this is the gallery for you.  

You’ll see a range of large stone reliefs, each portraying a different deity and the excavated artefacts that provide evidence that Roman’s paid a lot of attention to personal grooming and appearance.  

You’ll find out how efficient they were at farming and see items recovered from a Roman well at Barton Court Farm and the Great Tew Hoard.
