Comprising a cluster of 14th Century barns and a 15th Century Farmhouse, Tythe is set on the working farm of the Deeley family in rural Oxfordshire.
This charming setting brings together the thatched Tythe Barn dating back to 1370, The Cowshed with its old terracotta roof, The Nook, The Shepherd’s Hut and the Manor Farmhouse with sleeping for 16 guests. Next door to Tythe, at the end of the garden path, sits the impressive 12th Century village church – St. Mary’s.
The long sweeping drive draws you in and offers a hint of what lies ahead. Behind the enormous barn doors, you’ll find rustic oak beams draped in fairy lights, a pizza oven sat deep within Cotswold stone walls, festoon lights perched beneath the old thatch, the gentle trickle of the water trough, the inviting crackle of the outdoor wood burner, the flock of sheep in the field to the cows peering over the fence.
