Banbury: Family History Day

Saturday
14 September

Would you like to start researching your family history? Or do you have questions about the family tree you have already created?

Oxfordshire Family History Society (OFHS) will be holding a free Family History Day at Banbury Library on Saturday 14th September 2024.   On the day members of the society will be in attendance to answer peoples’ questions about either starting their family history or to advise to those that have already started researching but are not sure where to go next.  There will be displays showing what can be achieved and highlighting the work of OFHS, not only in researching but helping to preserve original documents.   As well as general advice it is planned that we will have advisors who can answer questions on DNA, military records, how to record the findings and explain the differences between the various genealogy websites.

OFHS is a registered charity (275891) whose primary aim is to promote Family History Research within the county of Oxfordshire. www.ofhs.uk
