Click and collect

Order items online and collect from Witney Library.

This service is available for Witney Library.

How it works

Complete the click and collect form. Tell us what sort of books you like to read.

Our experienced and knowledgeable library staff will handpick up to six books that fit your interests and preferences. We aim to meet your request within five working days. We'll contact you when your collection is available, and you'll have 7 working days to pick them up.

We will aim to select books that you'll enjoy. You may have read the book we choose for you. But even if we do not always hit the mark, it could be fun and exciting. Who knows, you might discover something new.

This service is only available to library customers using the temporary library in Witney between 28 February and 30 September. You must have a library card. If you are not a library member, apply to join. After applying online visit the temporary Henley Library to complete your application and collect your library card. You must provide some personal identification, such as a driver’s licence, passport, or bank card.

Borrowing audiobooks and DVDs

You can ask for audiobooks and DVDs, but remember there may be a charge for these items on collection.

Requesting a specific book

Click and collect isn't designed for you to request specific items.

You can reserve the items you want using the online library catalogue or the library app. Reservations may be charged.

When the items are due back

Normal loan periods apply - 3 weeks for books or audiobooks and 1 week for DVDs.

Check your receipt or library account for the specific due date. The library app is a useful way to manage your library account.
