When to renew your Blue Badge
Check the date on your badge before you start a renewal. The expiry date is in large print on the front of your badge.
Warning
We do not renew badges more than six weeks before expiry.
Badges issued by another local authority
If you are new to Oxfordshire and have a Blue Badge issued by another local authority, we cannot renew your badge. Please apply to Oxfordshire County Council as a new applicant. Make a new application before your current Blue Badge expires to avoid you being without a valid badge.
Expired badges
You must complete a new Blue Badge application if your Blue Badge expired more than six months ago.
